Every Sunday, at the crack of dawn, the ordinary parking lot in Legaspi village is buzzing with activity. Over the wide space are several white tents towering over chairs and an interesting mix of sights, sounds and smells draws even the most unsuspecting passersby. This is the Legaspi organic market held every Sunday. The Legaspi organic market  has been going on for many years now, familiar mostly to those who live in the area.

The organic market holds a friendly laid-back weekend vibe with the sounds of children and families looking over each stalls with tribal drumming and beats in the background. There are a variety of stalls that participate, there are diverse choices of food available. Actually, ready to eat meals from many cuisines and and also cakes, polvoron, and other desserts that can be brought home. There are drinks and ice cream to quench the thirst under the hot weather  and monoblock tables and chairs where one can sit and enjoy the fresh food. Aside from the food, there are so many other things to look at. There are stalls selling things such as ornamental china, leather shoes, one of a kind imported jewelry, shirts, paintings, bags and even photographs. There are also all sorts of healthy, natural, organic foods such as rice and stuff that can only be found there. The Legaspi market is sure to have something that will cater to everyone's taste. Just remember that they end early. By 3 pm they are already closed so go there early.
